It was a great day to support pro bono work in Hillsborough County Saturday at the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s 5K Pro Bono River Run and Judicial Pig Roast. James Hoyer Law Firm attorneys Jesse Hoyer and Sean Estes, along with paralegal Jan Brown, turned out for the event, dressed as super heroes to take on the challenge.

Jan Brown is the Pro Bono Chair for the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association, whose theme was “Paralegal Power.” TBPA’s booth with a looming Spiderman took 2nd place in the Best Pig Sty competition. Jesse Hoyer placed 3rd in the 5K run in her age group.
The event’s main purpose is to promote and support pro bono legal services in Hillsborough County. Local judges, attorneys, law students, and paralegals participate by pledging pro bono hours and/or contributing to pro bono projects.
